Overview
Abacus is a puzzle game for entertainment and mental stimulation. It does not diagnose, prevent or treat any medical condition, and its scores are not medical or IQ assessments. Rishveer Padda is the developer and data controller for information described here.
Information stored on your device
Abacus stores puzzle activity, scores, completion times, Daily Challenge history, streaks, progress, preferences, feedback drafts, an installation identifier and an optional age range on your device. This information operates the games and personal progress features. You can remove local information by deleting the app and its data.
Optional analytics
If you actively enable performance comparison sharing, Abacus sends a random installation identifier, optional age range, game type, difficulty, score, duration, moves, app version and platform to our Supabase-hosted analytics service. It does not send your name, email, birthday, advertising identifier, puzzle answers or written feedback. This sharing is optional, is used to improve game balance and comparisons, and can be disabled from the Performance Profile or Privacy & Analytics controls. Data already shared is normally kept for no longer than 12 months.
Optional rewarded advertising
Free players can choose to watch a rewarded ad after using their included Arcade rounds or to restore a Colour Sudoku attempt. Abacus never shows ads in the Daily Challenge, never forces an ad between games and does not show ads to Premium subscribers. Before requesting an ad, Google’s consent form is shown where required. Ad requests are marked as non-personalised. Google Mobile Ads may still process an IP address to estimate general location, device or app identifiers, ads viewed, ad and video interactions, and performance or crash diagnostics to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Advertising choices can be reviewed from the You screen.
Sharing and service providers
Supabase processes optional analytics on our behalf. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier and purchase, subscription and entitlement status so Abacus can offer and restore Premium. Apple processes App Store payments; Abacus does not receive complete payment-card details. Google processes information for optional rewarded advertising as described above. Abacus does not sell personal information. Feedback or exports leave the app only when you deliberately use the iOS share sheet and choose a destination.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or a portable copy of information held by the developer. For deletion of optional analytics, email the random player identifier shown in the app. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children, security and changes
Abacus is intended for a general puzzle audience and is not specifically directed at children. Parents or guardians should supervise use where appropriate. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, although no system is completely secure. This policy may be updated as the app changes; the effective date above will be revised.
